When did you start riding for Quiksilver/Roxy? In 2008 when I came back from a photo shoot on Maui.

Your qualities: I am pretty allround in all windsurfing disciplines and love them all.

Your objectives: Keep winning championships and have fun with it.

Biography: I started windsurfing as an 8 year old kid. My dad took me to a surf centre where we borrowed a school board with a small sail. We mounted an extra boom for me under the boom cut-out. So I got the feeling of windsurfing pretty fast, and was sold. We spent some time together on the same board, and later I started windsurfing alone. Suddenly I found windsurfing so fun that I stopped driving motorcross which had been my main sport for 6 years at that time. Since that windsurfing is my passion and a great part of my life.
