Jeremy Flores was born in Madagascar, grew up on Reunion Island and has been surfing since the age of 3.  His father has played a major role in Jeremy's development as a competitive surfer, moving his family between time in Australia, summers in Europe, whilst Jeremy maintained academic commitments with correspondence schooling.  This worldly young surfer has had an unconventional upbringing but it has enabled Jeremy to experience life in different countries, cultures and has helped him to feel totally at ease on the World Tour.

His career and personality are exceptional in more ways than one.  Jeremy is not only the youngest surfer ever to break into the professional elite of male surfers.  His first year on the World Tour saw him win the ASP ‘Rookie of the Year' Award. His second year on tour, was also a success with Jeremy finishing in the top ten.

Between events Jeremy spends time between his home in Capbreton, France and his family in New Caledonia.  These are the testing grounds for many of his boards that he develops in conjunction with his Quiksilver shaper Mark Phipps.  When Jeremy is not surfing he stays in shape mentally and physically with an intensive Jiu-jitsu training program.  Don't mess with Jeremy he's a fighter.  He's at home on Tour, has already clocked solid results and has a reputation built on great performances. It is clear that Jeremy has the potential to be the first ever European to win a world title, lets hope he can fulfil his dreams.
